VÆVER is a post-progressive metal band based in Copenhagen, Denmark, formed in 2015. With a sound palette embracing the complexity of TOOL, intricate jazz harmonies and Opeth’s blend of death metal and 70’s rock, VÆVER’s post-prog shifts effortlessly between the quiet and loud, soothing and merciless;
One moment you are floating on a cloud of elysian syncopations, next you are drowning in a flaming sea of noise and throes.

VÆVER has been a part of ORA’s project for upcoming artists “Audition Days” and played support for international bands like Bloodshot Dawn and Virvum.

A collaboration with Piotrek Wasilewski and Jacobi Sound Productions has led to the creation of their debut album, “Aitherios”, to be released spring 2023.
