The New Geometry is a post-rock project from portugal that began in 2015. initialy composed by four members the band released in the same year their first ep with the song “brothers by light” as the single. the song had great acceptance in webzines and music compilations within the genre.
in 2016, the band released the music video for “brothers by light” and took the opportunity to play some gigs and a summer festival in their home country. at the end of the year, and after losing their drummer, the band decided to launch a new single entitled “singularity” as a trio.
After a long period without finding a drummer, all the members decided to pursue other musical adventures. Nowadays the new geometry stands as walter teixeira solo project.
2021 brings a fresh new start to the project, with the first full length album entitled “alters” and the signing to luminol records. the album features collaborations of two portuguese musicians (josé carmo – guitars and luw – vocals) along
